Overview
The Seventy-second Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXIV Corps, Fifth Army, to the Capellan Confederation Military Region and transferred to District 2 of the Capellan Confederation Military Region by 2765.[1]. The 72nd survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Infantry division the 71st would have been formed from two brigades of grunt infantry and a brigade of light BattleMech regiments.[2]
