Overview[edit]

The Ninety-fifth Royal Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.

History[edit]

The unit took its name from the fact that there were ninety-five separate political subdivisions in the pre–Terran Alliance nations of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.[1]

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[2] Assigned to garrison New Vandenberg in the Taurian Concordat the Ninety-fifth was able to provide infantry support to the neighboring 329th BattleMech Division. The forces of the Ninety-fifth also assisted local law enforcement efforts, which made them look like jack-booted enforcers.[1]

The 95th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[2]
