Barony of Strang was a single planet Periphery nation located on Von Strang's World - Located outside of the Lyran Commonwealth, the Barony of Strang, sometimes referred to as the Barony of Lost Hope, is a small planet then ruled by the self-proclaimed Baron Otto Von Strang. The planet was later overrun by the Clans.

Nation Description & History
The Barony was ruled by ancestors of Rim World's Republic officer Colonel Gunthar Von Strang. He commanded of the 18th Amaris Chasseurs, which was initially one of the last 'Mech forces that General Aleksandr Kerensky defeated in the Star League Civil War.
The Von Strang family ruled the planet since the Rim Worlds Republic, the family die-hard loyalist of Stefan Amaris, continued to be loyalty its fallen leader. Family named the planet's only city, Amaris City. The Barony's civilian population was ruled through loyal Wardens.
