Star Captain Geoff Bekker was a Clan Ghost Bear and Steel Wolves MechWarrior, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Bekker Bloodhouse, during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Bekker had blond hair and gray eyes.[1]

History[edit]

Geoff was born as a Clan Ghost Bear trueborn on Tigress. After winning his bloodname, he started openly supporting Kal Radick's push for a more powerful army for the Republic of the Sphere. Soon he joined Radick's newly formed Steel Wolves and gained Radick's respect.

Following his successful Trial of Position against a Star Captain hand picked by Karl Radick, as of 3133 Bekker served in the Cluster Keshik Command Star of the Wolfkin Keshik, under the command of Elora Wolf. At that stage, following the death of Karl Radick, Geoff still clung to Radick's promise of "glory like has never been known".[1]

He did not however have the same loyalty to Radick's successor Anastasia Kerensky, being dismissed by her following her formation of the Wolf Hunters in 3135, after which he worked as a freelance mercenary for several years. Eventually winning a spot in the Vega Protectorate’s Omega Galaxy, Bekker reclaimed his Ghost Bear heritage, becoming known as an aggressive and luck warrior who was "more Ghost Bear than human".[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Bekker piloted a Kodiak BattleMech, serial number RD450-65G, named Black Bear. This 'Mech was initially built for the Rasalhague Dominion at the start of the thirty-second century, before being acquired by Clan Sea Fox in a Trial of Possession, and sold to the Republic of the Sphere. Bekker acquired this 'Mech while in the Republic immediately before the Blackout, and kept it during his subsequent service with the Steel Wolves and the Vega Protectorate.[1][2]
