Omicron Cluster was formed in 3132 as part of then Republic of the Sphere senator and Clan Nova Cat Galaxy Commander Kev Rosse's Spirit Cats splinter faction.

The skill of Omicron's troops was considered to be on par with a regular line unit and fanatically devoted to their leader but, unlike the other Spirit Cat clusters, seemed to believe that Kev Rosse's political message was more important than his prophetic visions.
