Omicron Cluster was formed in 3132 as part of then Republic of the Sphere senator and Clan Nova Cat Galaxy Commander Kev Rosse's Spirit Cats splinter faction.

This cluster, like all Spirit Cat forces, appears to have originally been drawn from the Republic's Clan militia clusters in Prefecture III.
