The Silver Eagle - an modified Monarch Class Civilian Dropship in early 31st Century owned by the Monopol company and captained by Captain Stefan von Breunig.[1]

Ship History

The ship operated between the Lyran Commonwealth and the Federated Suns pass through the Terran corridor of the Inner Sphere. The ship was made famous because of hijacking that accrued in May 3027, where the ship was taken by unknown agents whom later are known as part of the Heimdall resistance movement.

The ship's passengers which included FedSun hero Leftenant Andrew Redburn, were taken to desolated planetoid base located Draconis Combine's Styx star system. Kidnappers announced to the captured passengers that a Draconis Combine Fury-class infantry carrier had been spotted approaching the asteroid base. It was later revealed to the passengers and kidnappers that one of the passengers was Lyran Commonwealth's Archon-Designate Melissa Steiner, leading the kidnappers to ally with the passengers to fight off the Kurita invaders and prevent her capture by the Combine force.

Two groups of forces of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery consisting of the newly formed Genyosha Regiment arrive on the desolated planetoid in Styx system where Heimdall asteroid base was located and assaulted the 'planetoid looking for Steiner. The passengers & Heimdall fended of the assault until the arrival of the Kell Hounds mercenary battalion. The ship was able to escape thanks to the efforts of Captain Dan Allard & sacrifice of Patrick Kell. The ship continued to New Avalon with Kell Hounds in escort.
