History

Clan Goliath Scorpion

Tau Galaxy was formed in 3026 to act as a garrison to protect Scorpion holdings on Tokasha and nicknamed the Fort Fairchild Garrison. The Galaxy's Clusters are mostly equipped with light and medium 'Mechs and AeroSpace units so they can quickly move from one area to another. In 3061 the unit was debating the wisdom of taking advantage of the confusion caused by the Great Refusal and the Ghost Bear's departure for the Inner Sphere.

Tau Galaxy saw limited fighting in the Wars of Reaving remaining a defensive formation. It is likely that it was still on Tokasha when Clan Stone Lion moved against the Scorpion holdings in 3079, before being recalled to Roche by the Khan. From here Tau Galaxy moved to Waypoint 531, before attacking Granada, the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate in January 3080. The world was captured within a week, but it saw the death of Galaxy Commander Evelyn Buhallin. [1]

Escorpión Imperio

Tau survived the Abjuration of the Clan relatively intact. Upon taking up its new positions in the Imperio its nickname was changed to the Alexandretta Garrison. Galaxy Commander Orvin Kirov took over after Evelyn Buhallin death.[2]

Officers

As of 3061 to 3080 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Evelyn Buhallin.[3][4] Galaxy Commander Buhallin is the only Galaxy Commander in the Scorpion touman to come from another Clan's bloodline. This former Jade Falcon has used her experience in Operation REVIVAL to sharpen Tau's tactics.

In 3086 the Galaxy Commander is Orvin Kirov.[2]
