Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the wiki:

Article work

Hello Doneve, I see you've been very busy lately. I also work add article and bio on characters. You need type the articles in your own words. We can get into trouble you copy word for word from the books. Also, you need to also look at other articles. There are template for certain type articles you are writing. Black Omen‎ for example you wrote is word from word from the book. When listing a command you need to use templates. For mercenary commands you use this template. Help:CreateMercenaryUnitArticle. Copying this template you fill the information for the command and write in YOUR OWN WORDs the article. Cool. Ich hab' Deutsch gelernt, aber mein gescriebenes Deutsch ist wahrscheinlich schrecklich, weil ich fast gar keines Deutsch für neun Jahre gescrieben hab'.

Wirklich gibt's kein Problem. Die andere Schriftleitern haben deine Beitragungen wirklich gern, aber die möchten, daß alle Schriftleitern Nachslagen geben. Wenn du wolltest, könntest du die Nachslagen am Boden der Seite oder in die <<Discusion>> Siete notieren. Auch preferieren die Schriftleitern Bücher und Videospielen: Auf Englisch, auf Deutsch, alle Quelle sind egal für BT WIKI.

Wenn du willst, fühlt dich frei, mir zu hier schreiben (auf English oder Deutsch - ich muß mein Deutsch üben).

Auch, wenn du willst, kannst du deine "Screen"-Name bei drei "tildes" ("~" - tut's mir Leid, ich weiß nicht, wie das auf Deutsch heißt) schreiben, wie so ~~ (sondern mit drei oder mehr). Hat viel Spaß! Tschuß!--S.gage

Vieleicht stell ich mich ein einbissen dumm an, aber wie poste ich meine änderungen. Wenn ich auf die recent changes gehe ist bei jedem user in klammern die änderung angezeigt (.....) , ich hoffe du hilfst mir weiter

Wenn du möchtest schreib du mir in englisch und ich schreib dir in deutsch zurück, ich denke da können wir beide unsere sprach kenntnisse auffrischen :)

Vieleicht schreibe ich auf die Beide. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob ich deine Frage verstehe. Wenn du deine Änderungen sehen möchtest, kannst du am Oben der Seite "my contributions" finden und klicken. Du kannst auch einfach an "recent changes" gehen. Erinnert du dich, die Seite zu "reload". Ich hoffe, daß meine Antwort hilft.

OK, I am not certain I fully understand the question, but I will answer as best I can. Are you asking how you can see your own recent changes? If so, go to the top of your user page, on the right hand side click on "my contributions". Also, jetzt verstehe ich. Du willst deine Änderungen erklären. Ich habe gedacht, daß du schon "Summary" benutzten hast. Gleich unter dem Boden des "Textbox" (ich weiß nicht, was das auf Deutsch heisst) steht ein viel kleineres "Textbox" (gleich neben dem Wort "Summary:"), ober "Save Page", "Show preview" und "Show changes". Einfach kannst du hier ein bißchen schreiben, deine Änderungen zu erklären. Habe ich dir gehelfen?

Willkommen auf Sarna.net! Wie S.gage schon gesagt hat, auf Talk Pages ist es üblich, zu "unterschreiben", indem man seinen Text mit vier Tilden (~~~~) abschließt. Das System wandelt die vier Tilden dann automatisch in den Usernamen (wenn man eingeloggt ist, sonst die aktuelle IP) und einen Zeitstempel um. Und nochwas, für die Lesbarkeit macht es Sinn die jeweils nächste Antwort einzurücken, indem man einen Doppelpunkt voranstellt (:), bei der nächsten Antwort zwei (::) und so weiter.

Ich wußte nicht, daß Du auch Deutsch bist. Wenn Du irgendwelche Fragen hast, helfe ich gerne weiter!

SCHÖN' Gruß auch zurück Frabby. Hab mir überlegt, eine Einheitsaufstellung Wolf´s Dragoner,

vor und nach der Schlacht von Misery zu machen. Mit Namen der Gefallenen und weiteren Details.... etc.

Kannst du mir ein paar Ratschläge geben wie mein Layout und Gestaltung dafür aussehen könnte, und ob sowas ähnliches schon existiert?

Outdated Objective Raid info

Hello, while the manufacturing category is built on Objective Raids, things have progressed from is early 3050's time period and TRO printed since indicate Clans have refitted former IS factories under their control so re-adding IS 'Mechs is somewhat counter productive. Actually, I'd say any and all canonical information should be added, just make sure to add enough info to tell what was produced when (and when production began, stopped, was upgraded or switched). There is no reason whatsoever why the manufacturing category should be limited to any one specific time era. Frabby 08:08, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

I think the Objective Raids info should be added, too. If you are concerned with misunderstandings, add a tag. Give a date - no one can dispute the production of Satalice or Irece before the Clan Invasion.

Sorry Doneve, wasn't sure the translator was going help. Basicly all the birthdates and other listing in timeline need some kinda of reference. mainly in yearlist. Hi Doneve, i've noticed you've added alot of info to the timeline. You've also added the references, but your not linking the lines of information to where you got the information from. Hallo Doneve! Wie geht's dir? Ich bin ein bißchen beschäftigt mit Arbeit, aber ich bin gesunder.

Ich glaube, daß wrangler nur möchten, du mehr Referenz "Links" zu benutzen. (welche specifische Seite des Buch, des Artikel, oder anderer Quelle) Mit diese Information kann er jeder Faktum selbst lesen. Mit mehr Referenz ist BTW einfacher, wrangler und andere Leute zu benutzen.

(Nur) wenn du wolltest, "Links" zu schreiben, könntest du viele "<res>Referenz</res>" schreiben mit dem Faktum, und "<reserences />" am Boden der Seite (für Wörter in <>, nur mußt du die Buchstabe "s" mit "f" ändern; zum Beispiel, ref und ref/ würden gehen). Auch, es gibt sneller "Buttons", daß du snell drücken kannst. Diese "Buttons" stehen ober dem Text, "Insert a character" und "Insert a template", zur Rechten. Versüch du, wenn du willst. Ich habe diese "Buttons" gern. Diese "Buttons" sind einfach zu benutzen.

You are making alot entries, but with no references, there now any one can to know where you are getting them. Quanity over speed. Field Manual: Terran Republic is NOT CANON

Hi Doneve. I would not recommend using that field manual. Its a FAN-Made one. It would be bad news for wiki if you start mixing up information from that manuel with our wikipedia stuff here. We try post ONLY canon only information. We have Fan-Made articles, but they are clearly labeled and kept seperate from the canon ones. I recommend not using it at all. You could make article that mentions the existence of the book itself. However, seriously suggest NOT USE the Field Manual: Terran Republic as source for anything on Wiki. -- Wrangler 12:39, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Planetary Data

Doneve, good job enhancing those planetary articles, some of which haven't been touched since they were created by Nic in 2006. Two suggestions (if I may): one, put the term "(in 3075)" (or whatever year is correct) after the field Population, so that readers know when it had that many people on-planet. Two, list your references for the data at the bottom.

Please note that Objective Raids 3067 is not suitable as a reference, because it is not an official product. This fan-made book draws its information together from canonical products, yes, but you should try to find the true canonical sources for whatever information you provide - the sources from which OR3067 took its information.
