Planetary Info

Zanderij is probably best known as the location of a combined Kell Hounds/Clan Wolf ambush of the Red Corsair in 3055. The Red Corsair's WarShip dropped two Overlord class DropShips in the asteroid field surrounding Zanderij, while the Hounds and Wolves attacked. The assault was successful, destroying one of the Overlords and sending the WarShip on the run. More importantly an Inner Sphere officer who was captured by the Red Corsair was freed and provided valuable intelligence to the Hounds. This intelligence would eventually lead to the Red Corsair's destruction. Template:Red Corsair Timeline Clan Jade Falcon forces assaulted Zanderij during the second week of June 3070, one of a number of planetary assaults launched by the Falcons against the Lyran Alliance during the Jihad. The fighting on Zanderij would last until the 12th August, when a combination of LAAF and Clan Wolf-in-Exile forces would drive the Falcons offworld.
