Zane Nova Cat - Mid 31st Century trueborn mechwarrior, part of Clan Nova Cat. He witnessed the horrors of the Clan Nova Cat's Abjuration to the Inner Sphere.
Zane rescented from moment he arrived in Inner Sphere, that his Clan purity was being corrupted and set himself on a quest to save his Clan from itself.
He later has visions that leads him from his narrow minded warrior to try warn his clan of coming conflict with Clan Ghost Bears.
Character History
Zane was originally part of Rho Galaxy stationed on Bearclaw when Nova Cat Abjuration began in May of 3060. The world was attacked by Hell's Horses and Snow Ravens when they arrive to root out Cats from the world. Bearclaw's HPG system was done, never received word of Abjuration of the Nova Cats. He later survived the fighting and traveled with other Nova Cats to Inner Sphere after fellow Clans suddenly attacked all his Clan holdings
He was haunted by the nightmares of his experiences fighting their fell Clanmans as they were trying to annihilate.
He is one of 29 other survivors were among last warriors amound lower-casteman who made eight month trip to the Inner Sphere on Monolith Class Jumpship, the Dark Spine.
He and fellow warriors were rescued June of 3061 by the crew of the Nova Cat Battlecruiser, Severen Leroux in Irece system. They turned and attacked a crewmember, after seeing that he was wearing SLDF uniform. A warrior issuing Trial of Grievance against him, but after losing the fight to the crewmember. Several warriors attacked crewmember, and severely beat him. The fight was ended by Elemental guards, who later were used to guard them until Khan Santin West.
Khan West welcomes the survivors, he assigns them and Zane to newly formed new Zeta Provisional Galaxy to help protect their holding in Ireca Prefecture.
The Zane was assigned to the world of Yamarovka, where rest of his new Galaxy had been stationed by July, 3061. He was also part of what has become known as 1st Dragoncat Cluster. The Cluster was assigned Star Colonel Jal Steiner, former Clan Cloud Cobra warrior to lead it. Zane continued to challenge him and others over the changes the clan was under taking.
Zane's had only one friend due to is neverending anger and discord, Star Commander Samuel.
Character Notes
Zane was originally noted as a Jenner IIC 2 pilot. He later became first Nova Cat warrior to pilot new Clan Wolf-in-Exile's Pack Hunter BattleMech.
