History

Formation

The 23rd Marik Militia was based on Keystone in 3067. [1]

The 23rd Militia contained the survivors of the 8th Marik Militia after that unit was destroyed on Wisconsin in 2838. The defending 8th Militia was betrayed by traitors in the unit, allowing Liao saboteurs to poison their water supply. The 8th wasn't able to resist the attacking Justine's Grenadiers, and many Militia troops were captured. Unfortunately only 25% of the captured troops survived.[2]

Anton’s Revolt

The 23rd played no role in Anton Marik's revolt. They spent most of their time garrisoning Merak and Marik. [3]
