Garner Kerensky was a Clan Wolf saKhan in the thirty-second century.

History

Garner Kerensky was a Clan Wolf warrior and member of the Kerensky Bloodhouse. On an unknown date he won his Bloodname and by 3134 became his Clan's saKhan under the command of Khan Seth Ward. He participated in his Clan's migration to Lyran Commonwealth space and in Operation HAMMERFALL, the invasion by the Wolves and Lyrans of the former Free Worlds League space.

In 3143, while Khan Seth Ward led three Galaxies on the assault on Tharkad, Garner led three reserve Galaxies through Lyran and Republic Remnant space until reaching the border of Fortress Republic.[1]

After Seth Ward was murdered in Tharkad in 3143, Garner did not take his place, instead the young ristar Alaric Ward replaced Seth Ward soon after. Kerensky kept his position of saKhan until the year 3145 when he was replaced by Anastasia Kerensky in unknown circumstances.[2]

Garner's mysterious disappearance has drawn speculation in-universe. It was speculated than Garner may have died in an accident, resigned his position, or been killed in a duel with Anastasia Kerensky. The true reason and the reason the Wolves are keeping quiet about it remain a mystery.[2] In fact, the reality was much less dramatic: Garner was alive, and seemed to have step down as saKhan, by his own will or under orders of Alaric. In fact, it appears he still had Alaric Ward's trust, as the year 3150, the Wolf Khan mentioned him having returned to realize a mission outside the Wolf Empire territory.[3]

The reality, however, was very simple: Alaric Ward had made disappear Garner to send him in a secret mission to recover the WarShip McKenna's Pride, hidden in the Dark Nebula, in 3151, the Operation Icon. After succeeding, Garner's team carried the old WarShip to Wolf territory, where Alaric turned its command ship. Immidiately, Garner regained his post of SaKhan, leading the Wolf assault on Terra.[4]

During Terra's assault, initially, Garner served under Alaric's command, but after landing on Asia, they get separated: the Khan lead an army to America, and Garner another, composed by Alpha and Iota galaxies, to the East, toward Europe. The 21 February, he lead the assault on the Volga's redoubt, where he was near to defeat the Republic's garrison when Alaric arrived with his forces. Anyway, the Khan congratulated Garner by his strategy, and for his victory.[5]

Death

The Wolves were in Europe when, the 7 March, they suffered a headhunting assault, with units posing as Jade Falcons, and the Falcons suffered another of false Wolves, in and attempt of made both Clans turn to the other. Garner was killed in combat, heroically.[6]

BattleMechs

Garner's original 'Mech was said to be a Timber Wolf, but during the Terra's campaign, it needed a full refit, so he replaced it with a Blood Reaper.[7]
