History
Formed after the fall of the Star League in 2781, because the CCAF conquered the planet and the ruling Twohy family must left the place. The duke and his fellowers formed a regiment size mercenary commmand. They have a longterm goal to liberated Hsien and give it back to the duke.[1]
The Hotheads worked until 3053 for the LCAF and leave the Commonwealth, after difficults with the Liason Department. The Word of Blake took the unemployed mercenary command.[1]
In 3061 the command landed on Gibson. The goverment of Hsien offer them a contract to defend the local HPG. The Hothead landed with support of a Level III unit from the 4th Division. The opposing sides hired the Always Faithful. The Always Faithful were hunted down and killed by the Hotheads with support of the Blakists.[1]
When Brenn Twohy launched a campaign to seize control of his homeworld, Hsien, in 3067, the Hotheads found themselves facing the mercenary unit Gael's Grinders. Lieutenant Fargo Hambelton, lead scout of the Hotheads' second battalion, proved instrumental in tracking down the Grinders, and since the Hotheads assumed control over the entire planet has taken a leading role in training the newly-formed Protectorate Militia.[2]
Officer
In 3067 Colonel Brenn Twohy lead the unit as his forefather do also.[1]
Tactic
The unit is specialized in planetary assaults. Two Battalions pin an enemy in position and the third drop on them from orbit with great success.[1]
Support
The WoB give them technical support unknown to them until now. The commands own transport asssets are sufficient for all demands.[1]
