Description

The newest of the Word of Blake's Demon series of battle armor is the Nephilim. Named for a class of half-angels who dwelt with mortals from Christianity, the name may hint at an intended close relationship with the Celestial series.[3]

The Nephilim is protected by enough Mimetic Armor to stop two direct hits from a Large Laser. Since it can only manage 21 km/h overland, the special qualities of the armor are usually put to good use.[2]

Weapons and Equipment

The standard version of the Nephilim has a Modular Weapon Mount. That mount is usually occupied by a Man-Portable Plasma Rifle, though it can vary based on trooper preference. A pair of One-Shot SRM-2s supplement this arsenal.[2]

Variants

  • Narc
The “Narc” variant carries a Compact Narc with one reload. A Detachable Weapon Mount allows it to also utilize a Support PPC, while a Rocket Launcher 2 gives it some extra firepower. BV (2.0) = 79[2], 75[8]
