Launched in mid-3080, Operation MATADOR was the final and decisive phase of the FedSuns-Taurian War which had been ongoing since 3067. In a well-executed operation lasting two months, the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns reclaimed or conquered fifteen Taurian-held worlds with a minimal expenditure of force.
