Planetary History

In early April 3080 Potwin became a grim symbol of the anti-bionics feelings becoming prominant throughout the Inner Sphere in the wake of the Jihad when Shizue Pauletta, a former armoured infantryman with the AFFS, was murdered by a mob because of the artificial limbs he had received following injuries sustained in Operation SCOUR. This hate crime highlighted just how common prejudice against visible bionics had become in a relatively short period of time even in areas with no noticeable prejudice prior to the Jihad.
