Planetary History
The planet Preston was one of the targets of the Skye and Bolan Province invasion of the Free Worlds League in 3068. The invasion by the combined forces of the two Province, named Operation ÜBERSCHATTEN, saw Preston occupied along with the worlds of McAffe and Rexburg by the 20th of May 3068. However, the Lyran forces would only be able to hold Preston for a few weeks; the FWLM launched a succesful counterattack on the 28th of June, reclaiming the world.[5] As a part of the peace terms agreed between Marshall Jeremy Brett of the FWLM and Duke Alder Umayr of Bolan - and as a result of battlefield attrition - the Lyran Alliance withdrew its remaining forces from Preston by the end of 3069.[6]
