The Schiltron was co-designed by engineers from Bulldog Enterprises and Cosara Weaponries to follow up on the success of Bulldog's Tokugawa tank. More than just a combat vehicle, the Schiltron uses modular weapon ports similar to those used on OmniMechs so that it can theoretically be quickly reconfigured for a variety of mission parameters. In practice, the Schiltron is designed to provide command and control, as well as fire support, and its different configurations do not stray from those principles. Perhaps its only weakness, the Schiltron only carries ten tons of armor, forcing to stay well out of the line of fire, something that a top speed of 54 km/h does not always make possible. The base chassis carries a C3 computer that gives it the ability to coordinate an entire lance's fire, as well as a Guardian ECM Suite to protect the tank from enemy electronics.[1]

- Meant to be used at much closer range than the primary configuration, the first alternate configuration swaps out the artillery pieces for twinned MRM-40s and MRM-10s, the latter of which join the lasers in a turret mount.
