ComStar's ROM took two decades later to find out it was the elusive Kommandos. The Kommandos were attached to Delta Regiment of the Dragoons during the Halloran V mission. The Kommandos were used to send false radio transmissions that fooled garrisoning forces on the planet, that the Kommandos were a regiment of BattleMechs. This distracted the Liao forces from Delta Regiment their battlefront lines.

In 3007, the Kommandos were sent in as independent mission where they espionage and punitive raid against elements of the Liao employed mercs, McCarron's Armored Cavalry. The Kommandos conducted serious of sabotage actions, to destroy supply depots in various cities, frustrating the Cavalry in their inability to catch them. They were accompanied by Special Recon Group to pin point where bases were and other intelligence capacities.

House Davion had the Dragoons to disrupt alliance between House Kurita and Liao. This was done using the Kommandos to attacking various targets through acts of sabotage on New Aragon, but leaving evidence of that would suggest Kurita was involved.

While in service of House Liao (between 3010-3014) one of the Kommandos's DropShips gifted to them. Liao leadership was impressed with self-sacrifice of member of the Kommandos, nickname "Argent", they gifted a DropShip renamed Argent's Gift to Kommandos.[3]
