I like the Clans, and I have ever since the BattleTech Compendium and Technical Readout: 3050. I remember the complainers too, they have yet to be culled for their insolent lack of faith. I think Seafox/Diamondshark/Seafox is the coolest clan, though I like the Wolves, Bears and Falcons each for their own reasons. I feel the writers did a wonderful job making the Jags the big bad boogeyman who gets slain on the alter of good versus evil in a universe full of ambiguous moral choices.

I often wonder (lol), what is going on spinward? The Jarnfolk are said to trade up to 1,000 light years spinward of their little cluster. That is a lot of space to cover for trading, must be good reasons! That is what I like about the Periphery--the possibilities. (It is also claimed that the Jarnfolk warn of a highly aggressive militant culture out in the deeps of space. Most likely they speak of the Clans, but ya never really know for sure, do you?)

Regarding Me Personally

In college I was a tutor of English, Literature, Poetry, Business Communications, a course I never actually took, but when I protested, my boss, Herr Director of Library Services said it did not matter. I was aghast at hearing that, but it seems the Boss was right; my students went from E and D grades to B's and A's. I worked directly for my institution, by the way, and also instructed ESL labs. Toward the end I tutored all classes that had a non-math textbook component, regardless of whether or not I actually took the course.

I am a moderator at a video game website elsewhere on the web. I am taking a voluntary vacation from it since I have been hard at it for years. This is a pleasant diversion. If you are wondering where, and I doubt you are lol, the site is TradeWars: Rising. Google it. My name there is rebelscum.

I may or may not have signed up here in the past under that name, and may or may not have flamed out like a petulant little child. :) Such is life. Obviously, I have turned over a new leaf. This is actually one of the best wikis on the web (in my humble opinion). Sarna is a bastion of brotherhood and esprit de corps compared to many places on the net.

I love to write, but I think the only thing I like more than writing is reading a well-written story.

Pages I've been looking after

This section smacks of gross vanity, and rightly so on some level, but I prefer to think of it as a control center of sorts. I often learn something new that needs to be considered for application to some, many or all of them. And its easy to at least check back to add information stumbled across later. I have an all-encompassing Clan bias the likes of which even I was unaware of until recently, as evidenced below:

Biographies - Through gathering all of these characters of the Clans' past, an accurate picture of their respective Clan's life and history may be obtained (That's the current theory). My purpose lately is to do everything I can to make the Clan pages thrum with their own life. The Category: Clan Characters list should be the ultimate place for game hosts to come and find detailed personalities to throw at their fellow players.
