Yet, at the same time, the Vincent is the odd man out in the corvette family, being almost twice the size of the next biggest known corvette class (the Bonaventure); arguably with the size of a small destroyer only its relatively weak armament warrants its classification as a corvette. Designed in a time before the invention of the docking hardpoint system for DropShips, the Vincent notably sports tremendous cargo capacity, suggesting it may have doubled as an armed transport in addition to its duties as a patrol and picket craft. The vast storage capacity could also conceivably serve to keep the Vincent supplied for very long independent operation.
