Galaxy Commander Loren Icaza was the commander of Beta Galaxy, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Icaza Bloodhouse, from at least 3145 until 3152.[1][2][3]
History[edit]
Icaza led Beta Galaxy from the Trell I based Beta Galaxy Command as of 3145.[1] At an unspecified time, Icaza gave a Hierofalcon OmniMech to a MechWarrior under his command named Jerle for unknown services, even though Jerle was under a cloud of suspicion for having a mysteriously inconsistent codex.[4]
During Operation STAMPEDE in 3152, Star Colonel Jacinta Cooper of the Seventy-seventh Mechanized Cavalry Cluster requested Galaxy Commander Icaza to allow her to raid the Alyina Mercantile League world of Butler, but was rejected on the basis the AML was not worth the attention of true Clan warriors. Icaza instead dispatched a small solahma aerospace fighter unit from Trell I to capture the Butler Shipyards, though they were completely defeated by the defending Light of Heaven Mercenary unit.[2] This failure due to arrogance resulted in Icaza being removed from his command, and replaced with the 666th Mechanized Assault Cluster CO Marguerite Grimheald.[3]
