History & Description[edit]
The Pherkad Operations Area was a regional command of the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth composed of the former Tharkad Military District of the Lyran Commonwealth. One of the subdivisions of the Donegal March, as an Operations Area the Pherkad OA had command authority over a number of smaller Commands, also known as PDZs or Combat Regions in the Federated Suns half of the AFFC.[1]
Following the Clan Invasion, the Pherkad Operations Area was reassigned to the Tamar March and reduced to a single Command region.[2]
