General Jodene Tillens was the commander of the First Covenant Guards, with the Free Worlds League, from at least 3145 to 3151.[1][2]

History[edit]

Early Life[edit]

A native of Savannah, early in her career Tillens was an officer with the Republic Armed Forces's Hastati Sentinels, before defecting to the Free Worlds League and the Covenant Worlds.[3]

First Covenant Guards[edit]

In the years leading up to 3145, Tillens was in charge was expanding the First Covenant Guards to two regiments in size, as they were deployed to various worlds within the FWL.[3] As of 3145, Tillens and the First were deployed on Bordon,[1] which was intended to keep them away from Wolf Empire due to morale issues arising from their defeat on New Olympia in 3139 by Alaric Wolf.[4]

Covenant Worlds Invasion[edit]

In August 3151, Tillens and the First participated in the Covenant Worlds' invasion of the Wolf Empire, reaching Callison on 23 August. Finding the Solahma garrison unwilling to engage in battle, Tillens discovered it was due to a guerrilla campaign being waged by former Paladin Ariana Zou, who had escaped captivity following her defeat by Clan Wolf in early 3150. Joining forces with Zou, the first hand intelligence she provided to Tillens, was enough to allow the First to capture Callison with minimal casualties.[2]
