Overview
The Two Hundred Fifty-ninth BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLII Corps, Twelfth Army, to District 2 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1]The 259th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech division the 259th would have been formed from two Brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[2]
