2nd Sword of Light

This unit represents the Pillar of Steel, or the military, and their regimental patch is a gray Kurita dragon.

History

In 2475 the first use of BattleMech's by the Draconis Combine against another BattleMech force was a failure of spectacular proportions, after this defeat the second were issued with the Combines first "Modern" BattleMech the Von Rohrs and assigned to the command of Colonel "Ibis" Von Rohrs.

The Second under the command of Tai-sa Li Sak To helped launch the Luthien coup in 3067, this led to all yhe traitors being executed without trial and the Second Sword of Light Regiment being permanently disbanded in early 3075.

Tactics

The Steel Dragon prefers open set actions.

Composition

This regiment is composed of one light battalion, two heavy battalions, and one assault battalion, and has twice the usual number of AeroSpace Fighters.
