The Word of Blake Militia's 5th Division formed at Fort Tukayyid on Gibson in 3055.[1]
Operation ODYSSEUS[edit]
During Operation ODYSSEUS the 5th Division was assigned to take Mars. They were successful, but due in part to inexperience with the planet's low gravity took serious losses in the process. The Level III assigned to take the War Academy of Mars, for example, was reduced to six 'Mechs.[3] After the takeover of Terra, the 5th Division was assigned to the Castle Brian in Glen Valley, Australia, where they replenished their losses and put down uprisings throughout Australasia. In 3062 they deployed True Vision Level III to the White Cliffs, New Zealand Castle Brian for anti-terrorism duties.[3]
Jihad[edit]
In 3067 they were one of three Word of Blake Militia divisions stationed in the Chaos March, defending Sheratan. On Acamar elements of the 5th Division faced the DropShip Irregulars and lost a weapons researcher.[4] The 5th was one of fourteen separate Militia Divisions to be destroyed on Terra in 3078.[2]
