History
The Word of Blake Militia's 5th Division formed at Fort Tukayyid on Gibson in 3055.[1]
Operation Odysseus
During Operation Odysseus the 5th Division was assigned to take Mars. They were successful, but took serious losses in the process. The Level III assigned to take the War Academy of Mars, for example, was reduced to six 'Mechs.[2] After the takeover of Terra, the 5th Division was assigned to the Castle Brian in Glen Valley, Australia; They deployed True Vision Level III to the White Cliffs, New Zealand Castle Brian.[3]
Jihad
In 3067 they were one of three Word of Blake Militia divisions stationed in the Chaos March, defending Sheratan. On Acamar elements of the 5th Division faced the DropShip Irregulars and lost a weapons researcher.[4]
Officers
As of 3055, the commanding officer of the 5th Division is Precentor Trenton Endicott.[5] He was still in command in 3062.[6]
Tactics
During Operation Odysseus, the 5th Division was highly dependent on AeroSpace Fighters. After losing their fighters early in the Mars attack the 5th Division took serious damage due to a lack of adequate scouting.[7]
