HD-389202
System Information
X:Y Coordinates[e]

The HD-389202 system was home to at least one inhabitable planet and is located between HD-384971 and HD-381246 in the coreward Periphery beyond the edge of the Draconis Combine.[1]

System Description[edit]

Featured only in the MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries video game, the HD-389202 system is considered apocryphal.

Godwin Prime[edit]

Nikolai Mason referred to the planet as Godwin Prime.[1]

Planetary History[edit]

Godwin Prime is the site of a massive Star League spaceport long abandoned for centuries. Nik's Cavaliers' CO Ryana Campbell surmised that it was far more than a simple refueling station and must have been a key transport hub. There was at least one derelict Union-class DropShip.[1]

In 2986, Nikolai Mason decided to leave his NSR-9J Nightstar in an secret underground 'Mech bay so as not to draw unwanted attention with an extremely rare Star League-era 'Mech during his infiltration of Kurita space.[1]

In the first part of the thirty-first century, sometime after 3015 but before the founding of the Free Rasalhague Republic in 3034,[2] ComStar set up a field base and began excavating for Lostech in addition to searching for clues to what else might lie waiting out in unexplored space. With the Cavaliers' help, Sebastian Spears and Interstellar Operations wrested control of the spaceport from ComStar, killing Precentor Kenzo Yamata, who was there overseeing operations.[1]

Geography[edit]

Godwin Prime is depicted as a summer forest biome with excellent visibility.[1]
