Kiyomori Minamoto (Born 3022) - Draconis Combine soldier, military commander, and briefly military regent of the the Combine.

Personality
Minamoto is a traditionalist samuari warrior whom strictly adherence to the warrior codes of bushido and the ways of honor. He had been resistent to newer changes philosophy created by Theodore Kurita.
Character History
Minamoto began his military career under reign of Coordinator Takashi Kurita, where he learned abide by traditional ways of the samauri. He became a model soldier, whom he steadily grained command of 7th Sword of Light Regiment just before the Clan Invasion. As Tai-sa of the 7th Sword, he was instructmental in rebuilding the unit after the clan invasion of Luthien. He politely refused promotion beyond the command of the 7th Sword.
He felt the 7th Swords of Light was keeper of Draconis Combine Tradition and Culture. He showed his resolve maintain traditions alive by pushing his warriors of the 7th live their lives on and off the battlefield in tradition of bushido.[1]
Operation Bulldog
In 3059, Tai-sa Minamoto lead the 7th Sword of Light in the defense of Pesht, when the elements of Clan Smoke Jaguar's Delta Galaxy counter attacked Operation Bulldog invasion of their occupation zone.[2]
Combine-Ghost Bear War
When Alshain Avengers triggered Combine-Ghost Bear War in 3062, the Minamoto's unit was stationed on Turtlebay when Clan Ghost Bear attacked forces on nearby Idlewind. However, Minamoto's forces arrived too late to assist the 9th Pesht Regulars. Minamoto kept the enemy forces occupided and contained on Idlewind until end of the war in 3063.
Pre-Jihad
Coordinator Theodore Kurita meet with Minamoto try to have his unit change to New Bushido philosophy he had instilled rest of Combine. At their meeting, the Coordinator was impressed with the Tai-sa's keen mind and stance on traditionism. In 3066, Coordinator promoted Minamoto to Tai-Shu making him personal aide to him.[3]
Jihad and Black Dragons Coup
During this time, Tai-shu Minamoto was touring Galedon District of the Combine, while Coordinator had traveled to Tharkad for Star League Conference in 3067.
When Coordinator fell ill and died, Minamoto declared himself Gunji-no-Kanrei and took control of the Draconis Combine until Hohiro Kurita could be rescued from his Blakist captives on Dieron.
