Loyalty is a short story written by Jason Schmetzer. It was first published, in four parts, through the now defunct initial homepage that WizKids maintained in support of their MechWarrior: Dark Age game line.

Plot summary[edit]
Loyalty follows Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Wallace of the First Bannson Raiders "the infamous Scourge" as he struggles to support his men within the unnatural structure of a corporate military unit. Loyalty proves that it's hard to force corporate efficiency onto a military body and when you do, the resulting actions don't always leave a positive synergy of employee goals.
