System Description

Pivot is located at the edge of the Caliban Nebula in the Exodus Road. It is the first point from which the Pentagon Worlds can be seen. The systems only planet, Pivot Prime was the site of a Clan Smoke Jaguar HPG Relay Station that was garrisoned by a mixed Star consisting of two 'Mechs and three Elemental points.

Planetary History

In January 3056 it was the site of two minor actions for control of the Station; first captured by the ComStar Explorer Corps force Meredith's Marauders and then quickly re-taken by a Jaguar relief force. A minor naval engagement took place at the same time as two Union-C DropShips with fighter escorts crippled and boarded the Marauder's JumpShip.

Pivot system was a very important one for the clans, at least for the clan naval personnel: When they cross the system, they celebrated it drinking alcohol, making himself a tattoo of a Cameron Star. The technicians follow the same tradition.
