Church was rewarded a Mad Cat OmniMech to replace her lost machine. Her success on an assignment on Hall lead to her promotion to Captain of the Black Widows Trinary. However, she had problems in the beginning of career with the Widows as she became distracted in combat where she personally got involved in the battles her forces fought.

She was taken guidance of Black Windows Company veteran John Clavell, who showed her the nuances battlefield command. This wisdom had been passed down to Clavell from the Black Widow herself, Natasha Kerensky.

During the attacks against Outreach in beginning of the Jihad, her battalion was annihilated by undercover Blakist unit posed as a mercenary unit named the Broadsword Legion. She alone survived a ambush that wiped out her entire command, including its wounded. She was left for dead in her wrecked 'Mech, but was rescued shortly after. During withdraw of the Dragoons to Arc-Royal, she attempted remain behind to fight the Blakist. However, she was order by General Maeve Wolf to withdraw with the rest of the Dragoons.

On Arc-Royal, she became the commander of the newly reformed Black Widows Company in 3069.

She was given an experimental Zeus-X BattleMech which was donated by the Kell Hounds. Her Company was the first of the Dragoons units to return to active service. Her unit took on various opponents in early days of the Jihad, including the Blakist's elite independent unit the Opacus Venatori.

Notes

She is reported to be a beautiful and physically-fit woman, and possesses a tough-as-nails attitude. This attitude led to a demotion in her early career, due to a comment made about her muscular arms.

She noted for piloting her experiment equipped Zeus-X BattleMech, which has been referred as recognizable mech in comparison to Natasha Kerensky's Warhammer during her days as Black Widows' commander.[1] She is listed as Notable MechWarriors for Zeus BattleMech in the TRO 3050 Upgrade. Prior to the Wolf Spider Battalion's destruction, she apparently piloted a Mad Cat.[2]
