Rev, I've got two possible Editor Userbars up on my userpage. I think Doneve's already using one. I've got a few other ideas I have yet to finish, but I thought you may want to see what I've got so far.--Mbear 18:52, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

BattleTech Image Gallery

Hy, I want to create a Category: BattleMech Images, but i want to put only colour images on it, what are you thinking, also we can remove some images from the BattleMech sites to the Gallery.Greetings--Doneve 01:23, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

I'm fine with that, as long as the pics are canon/official. I'd say the pics must also be in alphabetical order. If they are color only, then that should be in the name. Ex: Gallery: BattleMechs (Color). --Revanche ^{(talk|contribs)} 09:54, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Sir. Paul Masters

Hello, Rev. I understand why you reverted Paul Master's death from 30?? to ????. However, when Apollyon took over this place. it made it clear that Sir. Paul Masters was DEAD. It in the Jihad Hot Spots books. It just they didn't nail down when exactly. This is due to nature of the the Jihad Hot Spots books being scattered/scrambled news reports and intelligence corpondances. Day of the dead on reliable source of information from new Battletech source books is now endangered species. -- Wrangler 10:56, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

I understand the ambiguity of the 'now-reporting' style with which we're witnessing the Jihad, but that wasn't made clear on the article. A ref is required for that factoid, and maybe even pinned down to a decade (ex: b. 3012[1]-d. late 3070s[2]). Suggestion : Drop the "death" part of the intro (i.e. just have his date of birth) and refer to his death in the body under Jihad/Death. Refer to what material DOES reference his death. ClanWolverine101 11:45, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Level 3 Equipment

This leads to bigger discussions: how do we present out-of-universe material and should we present rules? If so, to what extent? The former has been openly discussed here, while Frabby has opened the issue with Nic on his talk page here. Your exact item is just a bit stalled in a discussion I'm having with Neufeld at this place.

I was joking about the test. It simply allows you access to do more with your presence. Think about what you /have/ done already and what else you could do directly, without having to resort to templates and messages left on admin talk pages. Thanks Doneve. Blocked, prevented account creation, and deleted the spam user. Could we have an admin tool/button "Kill Spam User" to simplify the process? I am especially keen on blocking the IPs in question for further account creation, but I only ever block them for one year - I don't like infinite measures as a matter of principle. colored image for units

Heya,
I have a question: Can we put color images as the main one, into templates? I did that during first uploads of my files, yet I recall they were removed and put as thumbs instead, with balck&white images staying as primary one. Now I see that Doneve does the same - so what is the policy - we put black&white images to templates, or colored to templates? The Colorful Project 16:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

There is no written policy (that I'm aware of); rather consensus appears to be to go with the most common single image for that particular article as the infobox image. I presume you are talking about vehicle (et al) articles (vice bios), so it appears to be consensus that TROs are the preferred sources for images. I cannot speak as to why, but please consider reviewing the BED consensus process, of which I am a big fan. It might be helpful, though the Discussion method might be the more appropriate.--Revanche ^{(talk|contribs)} 17:56, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
