The Vega Prefecture was one of five administrative regions that comprised the Dieron Military District of the Draconis Combine. The region of space where the Prefecture used to be was under the control of the Word of Blake during the Jihad, and then a part of the Republic of the Sphere. By 3151, the area of the Vega Prefecture falls under the Rasalhague Dominion.
