Description[edit]
Handbook: House Kurita is the sixth and final in the series of handbooks detailing the nations of the Inner Sphere. It is the modern successor to the original House Kurita (The Draconis Combine) sourcebook and the definitive source on the Draconis Combine. The sourcebook contains a detailed history section of the Combine and House Kurita up to 3067. It also includes brief histories of some of the more important planets, information on how the government works, and an analysis of the Combine culture and economy, including a detailed list of the most important companies.
The sourcebook glosses over the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, O5P, and ISP, since those organizations were detailed at length in Field Manual: Draconis Combine and A Guide to Covert Ops, respectively.
The product ends with additional rules and units to be incorporated into BattleTech and A Time of War: The BattleTech RPG games.
From the Back Cover[edit]
| “ | THE TRUE PATH IS THE WAY OF THE DRAGON
For almost a millennium, the symbol of the Dragon has struck fear into the rest of the Inner Sphere. The fearless dedication of its warriors, the devotion of its people, and the awesome ambitions of its Coordinator: House Kurita has been more reviled than any other power. Yet a new leader has arisen in the last decades, bringing about a host of reforms and reigning in the realm's most rapacious desires. Such rebirth comes at a price, as various shadowy influencers fix their eyes on reigniting the Dragon’s glorious past. Only time will tell which path the Dragon will follow... Handbook: House Kurita cover the pivotal history, politics and cultures of the Inner Sphere’s most feared Great Houses. Not just a sourcebook, Handbook: House Kurita covers rules for both BattleTech and A Time of War game play, including such areas as personal equipment, support vehicles, creatures and more. |
