Claudio Vong was a former member of Clan Ghost Bear's touman and later, member of the Republic of the Sphere armed forces.

History[edit]

Claudio was a Trueborn Ghost Bear, which fought during the Word of Blake Jihad. He was an active warrior when his unit, Rho Galaxy participated at the Battle of Luthien in 3075, losing his 'Mech on the battle. On 20 January, he was onboard the Leviathan II when it abandoned the Luthien system. He had been working to make his Great Work, trying photography, but without success. That day, his tech informed him than his 'Mech had been replaced with a Federated Suns Osiris. Claudio didn't like the 'Mech's aspect, but, without alternatives, tried it... and saw his senses assaulted by the perfume, sounds and visual impact of Hikaru, a digital assistant. Claudio complained to his Star Colonel, asking for another 'Mech, but his superior refused, ordering him to solve the problems by himself. On 30 May 3075, Claudio was on Kaus Borealis, and still hadn't managed to solve his 'Mech's problems, and was forced to learn how to do technician work. On 4 July 3076, Claudio, which had rise to Star Captain, and found a sponsor to fight for a Vong Bloodname, had his 'Mech's systems reset, though by then, he had began appreciating Hikaru, so, after the reset was completed, reinstalled her.[1]

By 21 July 3082, Claudio had won a Vong Bloodname, and, after the end of the Jihad, immigrated to the Republic of the Sphere. That day, on Terra, before leaving behind his Clan, he presented his Great Work, which was his Osiris, already tamed, but still with the same digital assistant.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

Claudio's initial 'Mech was a Viper which he lost on Luthien, being replaced by a captured Osiris, his Great Work. The 'Mech had a long story, and it fought for the Republic of the Sphere for decades and, piloted by a Clan Jade Falcon warrior, fgought at the IlClan Trial.[1]
