Devin[edit]

Planetary Description[edit]

Devin is a desert planet with high winds and severe electrical storms.[24]

Planetary History[edit]

Star League Era[edit]

Prior to the fall of the Star League, Devin was the site of a garrison from the Star League Defense Force.[25]

During the Amaris Civil War, Rim Worlds Republic naval units clashed with SLDF Battleships in the Devin system. A Texas-class Warship was lost in this battle and crashed into the surface of Devin. The hulk broke up in Devin's atmosphere and left series of large craters and a large mountain of metal debris on the surface. The wreckage became a huge planetary salvage yard, known as the Boneyard.[26]

Operation REVIVAL[edit]

In August 3050, Clan Jade Falcon arrived in orbit above Devin and challenged its defenders to a Trial of Possession for the planet. Devin's defenders consisted of two battalions of combat vehicles, the First and Second Devin Armored Battalions, who chose to fight the Falcons in the debris fields of the Boneyard. The metal debris of the Boneyard Slowed the progress of the Jade Falcon First Falcon Striker Cluster, with their MAD rendered useless. The Devin Armored Battalions were destroyed after forcing the elite Clan MechWarriors into point-blank range, but not before destroying two Stars-worth of OmniMechs themselves.[14][27]

The Refusal War[edit]

In October 3057, Clan Wolf's 3rd Battle Cluster attacked the Clan Jade Falcon's 2nd Falcon Jaegers and 1st Falcon Striker Clusters as part of the Refusal War. Despite heavy losses, the Falcons would defeat the Wolves.[28]
