Tom Jordan was a Republic of the Sphere officer and later leader of the anti-capellan resistance on Hall.[1]

Tom Jordan was a native from Elgin, and after the raising of Fortress Republic, he enlisted in the Republic Armed Forces around 3142. After graduation on Sandhurts Royal Military Academy on Terra, he served two years at the Tenth Hastati Sentinels before returning to his native world, where he had been transferred as Captain of the newly formed Fourteenth Principes Guards, leading the Flankers company, training in combat exercices very often. The 11 October 3148, after returning to the base from an combat exercise when the unit's commander, Colonel Boyle, informed him than their battalion was being sent off-world, to the planet Hall, landing there the 22 October.[2]
The 3 February 3149, when landed on Hall the 2nd McCarron's Armored Cavalry forces, Tom was at the Hastastis' hidden command center, and after the bulk of the capellan forces had departed, leading a blitzkrieg attack against the invaders' landing zone, taking the RAF armoured infantry and departing before the capellan forces could return.[3]
The Hastatis began a guerrilla war, and the 23 February, Jordan fought a duel against Yen-Lo-Wang, piloted by the Capellan commander Danai Liao-Centrella in a canyon, and, enraged by his unit's losses, attempted to kill her, but failed. He ordered his men to stay away from him to save them, before his 'Mech was downed, but he managed to eject before his Kheper blowned. His men barely managed to rescue him before the Capellans captured him.[4]
Tom was taken to the Hole, the secret command center of the RAF resistance on Hall, becoming one of their last officers, hiding and waiting for reinforcements to arrive. When a group of mercenaryes contracted by the Republic arrived, he participated on their planification attacks. When he was informed than Elgin has been left defenseless by the Republic and taken by the Capellans, he was shaken to the core. After his Colonel's loss, he became the highest rank officer on the resistance, determined to keep it active.[5]

Tom's only known 'Mech was a Kheper.[6]
