The daughter of Colonel Jon Campell and Senator Moelene Jaffries-Campell, Tara Campbell was the Countess of Northwind and head of the famous Northwind Highlanders. She piloted a Hatchetman and eventually a BattleMaster during her career; she fought against and beside Anastasia Kerensky on several occasions, saved Terra from the Steel Wolf Invasion, and defended many Republic worlds. She fought for the people of The Republic, if not The Republic itself.
Prefect
After initially declining this post in favor of the more experienced Duchess Katana Tormark, Campbell was finally promoted to Prefect of Prefecture III when Tormark renounced the Republic and founded the Dragon's Fury. Before switching allegiances to the Combine, Campbell had valued Tormark so much that her treason would even haunt the new Prefect in her dreams.[1]
