Contents
History
This unit was formed after the successful actions of the 1st Taurian Lancers impressed the TDF command enough to repeat the unit experiment. By 3042 a regiment of light to medium weight mechs had been assenbled and pair with a regiment of heavy and assault weight tanks (Heavy LRM Carriers).[1] The new unit has had little time to perfect/aquire a singular set of tactics, but have been employed as a defensive unit. The unit's symbol is an armored bull with starbursts at the tips of his horns set over interlocking circles.
Officers
Colonel Darlene McKinnon has brought the unit up to scratch since taking over in 3059.[2] In 3064 the commanding officer of the unit is Colonel Andrews.[3], later in3067 the unit is commandet by Colonel William "Stable Manager" Mouat.[4]
Tactics
The 2nd is not truly specialized for any tactic.[3]
