The Fifth Oriente Hussars were a 'Mech regiment.

Second Succession War[edit]
In the Sixth Battle of Andurien the Fifth Oriente Hussars and the 3rd Marik Militia landed on Andurien to face CCAF troops. After two months of fighting the Fifth drove the Capellans off the world.[1] After this fighting, they were reduced to 28% of their nominal full strength.[2]
Third Succession War[edit]
Had been stationed on Sierra since 3021, where they were initially viewed with suspicion. The attitude of the locals changed when the Fifth defeated raiders from the Circinus Federation in 3035.[3]
Anton's Revolt[edit]
In 3014 the 31st Marik Militia was trapped on Uhuru by the 9th Lyran Regulars and Narhal's Raiders. The Fifth, along with the 3rd Oriente Hussars, relieved the trapped unit and drove the Lyran attackers off-world.[4]
