History

Arcturus was the original capital of the Lyran Commonwealth, home to Arcturan Arms and serving as seat of government to the Nine Archons. Eventually, with the Draconis Combine slowly gaining ground in the Tamar Pact to directly threaten Arcturus with an invasion, Archon Marsden proposed a switch of the capital to his own homeworld of Tharkad in the Donegal Protectorate, which was accepted by the other Archons.

Sorenson's Sabres were seen operating on Arcturus as a part of Chandrasekhar Kurita's hired forces in 3073.
