Planetary History

Early History

Originally a member of the St. Ives Mercantile League, Atlas was conquered by the Federated Suns in 2364 after the best of the St. Ives military forces were ambushed and destroyed alongside a pan-Capellan strike force during an ambush on Lee. The Mercantile League was unable to contest the invasion, and lost seven worlds to the Federated Suns in a matter of months.^[4]

The Jihad

The Word of Blake launched a number of attacks during the first week of April 3069, some of which resulted in worlds being incorporated into the Word of Blake Protectorate; Atlas was one of the worlds the Blakists targeted, raiding with a mixture of Blakist forces and mercenaries.^[30]
