The Baxley system is located close to the Dothan and Vereeniging systems[4] and consists of a class K5IV primary orbited by at least three planets.[1]

Amongst the poorest and most ignorant worlds in the Davion realm, during the Succession Wars, Baxley contributed more potential recruits to ComStar than any other world in the Federated Suns, the planet's impoverished and uneducated population seeing the Blessed Order's representatives as near demigods and treating them with greater reverence than those of the New Avalon Catholic Church.[1]
