The Chota system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 2750 was located in the Markesan Operational Area of the Crucis March within the Federated Suns.[1]

System Description

The Chota system is located near the Exeter and Rosamond systems.[1]

System History

The Chota system was colonised at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War.[2][1] Chota vanished from maps during the First Succession War[3][4][5] indicating that the system had been abandoned or depopulated.

First Succession War

Chota was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2787.[11] Like other minor worlds such as Acoma, Nouveau Toulouse and Tallassee, by the end of 2795 Chota was dying, either as a result of the damage taken during the assault or as a result of starvation and disease following the collapse of local trade and infrastructure in the region after the invasion.[33][11]
