The Ddraig system was either colonised by the Outworlds Alliance during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War or was an already-inhabited system that became prominant enough during this era for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.[3][1][2] Ddraig vanished from maps during the First Succession War[4][5] indicating that the system had been rendered too insignificant to merit further recording.

In 3073 Ddraig was raided by the Death's Consorts, who had been dispatched to the system by Paula "Lady Death" Trevaline; the pirates were battled on Ddraig by the Brotherhood of Randis on the 12th of June, who were intent on preventing the Consorts from wiping out the last inhabited settlements on the planet.[25]
