New Hessen WorkMechs is a manufacturer of IndustrialMechs based in the Federated Suns. During the Jihad, they expanded their production lines to include RetroTech BattleMechs. After the Jihad ended, they continued to produce BattleMechs like the Rook and refit kits for the same. Though they produced other designs during the Jihad, production of these designs were transferred to Hessen IndustrialWorks.[1]

Overview

Mercenary General Pat Hampton of Hampton's Hessens had obtained a copy of the New Dallas Memory Core, and after successfully returning home, lobbied New Hessen's local manufacturers into producing several Retrotech designs using local resources. After the Jihad ended, the company produced refit kits for their Rook design[2] as well as other designs.
