History

After the IlClan Trial, Clan Wolf became the IlClan, but Khan Alaric Wards taking almost all the available warriors to Terra left the Wolf Empire totally defenseless. However, it has a remaining high officer: Star Colonel Othar. He, acting by his own initiative, took the control of all the Empire's resources and began creating two new Galaxies: Lupus Galaxy and Rufus Galaxy, paired so a Rufus Cluster garrisoned a key planet and a Lupus one assisted them when they were under attack.

Each Galaxy had to had, at most, five Clusters, and the 103rd was defending the planet Tongatapu, when it was attacked by the Free Worlds League Task Force Accord, under the leadership of Major Makeda Kay, composed by the units of the Third Free Worlds Guards and Fourth Regulan Hussars, landed. The Cluster, shattered on the fight, had to retreat to save what remained of the unit, the 11 March 3152.

The 105th Wolf Garrison Cluster was garrisoning the nearby planet, New Olympia, which became the next target of the Task Force. The Marik units, after landing the 5 April, attacked the prestigious Allison MechWarrior Institute. The 105th harassed the invaders too, but with better success than the 103rd: on 15 April, the Lupus Ninety-fourth Wolf Battle Cluster arrived, after making a pirate jump, landing over the Regulans' cantonment. They asked for help of the on the way Third Marik Guards, but it arrived too late, after their relief DropShip was downed by the Wolves' aerospace units. When help arrived, it was too late for Makeda Kay, which had been killed. As both Marik units were antagonistic, her loss opened a wedge between both, and by June, the stalemate between invaders and defenders remained.
